There are three types of award we are offering with the funds allocated for 2025/6.

The Elders Beacon Award
Ongoing monthly support, ideal for sustaining impactful projects with financial security

One £12,000 award (£1,000 per month for 12 months)

Supporting a strong, well-established project that is already making a significant impact but needs financial help to expand

Two £6,000-per-year awards (£500 per month for 12 months)

Providing consistent backing to smaller but promising initiatives

One-time project launch grants for new initiatives, to encourage those elders with a great idea that needs a push to get started

Three £6,000 one-off awards (paid over three months)

Helping to launch ambitious new projects with a significant cash injection

Small impact grants for micro initiatives or equipment needs, spreading our support across multiple projects to allow more elders to benefit

Eight £1,000 one-time grants

Supporting small but meaningful projects, for example, buying equipment, hosting workshops or classes, launching community events, and so on
